Patricia Campbell is a partner in DMG Landscape Architects and project manager for a diverse range projects. She has an extensive portfolio of urban design, park planning, and land development projects. Patricia has had the opportunity to pursue her interest in sustainable building practices and to that end has consulted to local public works projects. Pat was project landscape architect for Taylor Park Elementary School, a pilot project under the GVRD Green Building Program. Patricia authored `A Greening Strategy for Downtown Chilliwack’ for the City of Chilliwack. She was project landscape architect for the Vancouver Works Yard, recognized with the first LEED Gold designation from the Canadian Green Building Council. Mission Shores is a resort property located on Lake Okanogan recognized by the Kelowna Homebuilders Association Award program including the Best Overall Project as well as the Best Landscape Award.

David Mitchell has been a partner in DMG Landscape Architects since its inception in 1982. As senior landscape architect in the group, David has guided the firm through an extended period of growth and continuing diversification of the firm. His responsibilities include schematic design as well as management of a full range of projects and administration of the professional staff. His clients extend from various levels of governments to land development companies. He and his partners have created a successful practice with an extremely varied range of park planning, urban, institutional, residential and commercial projects throughout British Columbia.
Mr. Mitchell is a Fellow and a Past President of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (2000). He has also held many positions within the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects including President, Director, Executive Secretary/Registrar, and CSLA Board of Governors Representative. A major interest is the improvement of standard landscape practices in the province and across Canada. He is actively engaged in various committees within the industry and the profession in pursuit of this goal. In 1995 he received the CSLA Regional Service Award for his contribution to landscape architecture. In 1997, David was presented with a BCSLA President’s Award for Outstanding Service and Commitment to the society. In 2001, he was elected a Fellow of the CSLA.

The committee has negotiated, written, and published THE BRITISH COLUMBIA LANDSCAPE STANDARD. The document establshes what is an acceptable level of landscape construction and sets guidelines for landscape work. Mary Chan is a partner in DMG Landscape Architects. Mary is project manager for a wide range of DMG Landscape Architects' park planning, urban, commercial and residential land development projects. Ms. Chan has particular expertise and a special interest in the design of and technical requirements for the development of recreational and child-play facilities. Mary was partner-in-charge for Sagil Estates, Malaysia; a new 6,000-acre destination resort community in Johor Province. In British Columbia, she has just completed several multi-functional community park developments within the City of Coquitlam.
